- YWAM Iquitos offers a limited number of internship opportunities for those who are contemplating long-term missions service. The internship program often serves as a stepping stone between short-term missions and formal preparation for full-time service. Our internship program is customized for each intern and lasts a minimum of three weeks to a maximum of three months. The intern serves with us on the mission field, collaborating with our YWAM team. The program is designed to give the intern a deeper “taste” of missions than a typical short-term outreach. The internship program does not require a DTS. Interns are required to raise their support for the entire internship period prior to arrival. Since each internship is customized, the cost of each program is determined by duration, ministry focus, and ministry travel costs.
